Ben

Class of 2021:

Got to know this guy last weekend for a senior session. Photographed his sister’s senior pictures a few years back (I really need to post some of Rachael’s pictures…stunning!).

Ben is super sharp, doing dual enrollment at his high school and METRO, looking to become an electrician. We talked gaming, trades, cars, and life in general. Great young man!

Ben quickly mastered the art of “smile with your eyes” (tough thing for Senior guys to do). You can see it in his pictures…

Good luck this year Ben!

Class of 2020:

Thankful for the opportunity to work with this guy, stud student and great athlete!  One of my favorite locations is in Elkhorn -- so many great backgrounds, texture, and wonderful lighting.

I love, love shooting in the “golden hour,” that magical time before sunset. But even when the light isn’t ideal, I can make it great!  I have learned how to "shape" light using on and off-camera flash. It's a subtle difference, but noticeable.

Sydney

Class of 2020:

I have known Sydney's Mom for years, and was honored when they asked me to be her senior photographer! The sparkle in those eyes! Such a great smile, and so calm and comfortable in front of the camera.

Sandhills

January 13th, 2019:

Autumn visit to the Sandhills of Nebraska, I set up for a long exposure image. A vehicle drove by during my picture...and I captured this.

The Sandhills holds a special place in my heart. I remember family trips to Uncle Chuck and Aunt Bonnie's ranch, tubing trips down the Niobrara River for "Leonard Days," and endless hikes through the hills.

Makes my heart happy!

Lindley

Class of 2017:

When you are a picture guy, and have a daughter, Senior Sessions are just a little more special! This kid, what can I say.

Watching her grow up, start playing sports, develop in to a wonderful young lady...I'll be honest, PROUD Dad moments happened...all...the...time!

Her Coaches were kind enough to allow me field and court level access to take pictures and be right there next to the action.

Sat under the basket in Pinnacle Bank Arena when Elkhorn South won a state basketball title. Stood on the photographers scaffolding in Hastings when South finished runner up two consecutive years, then celebrated a state championship Lindley’s senior year.

Such a great young lady!

Writing down thoughts, ideas, posting pictures of some of my favorite sessions...
